WHO WE ARE

As long-time volunteers ourselves in addition to association management being our profession, we understand the struggles that most associations are going through from both the staff and the member sides. Being able to relate to those separate groups is what gives us a distinctive look into the field. We don’t just understand volunteers and non-profits because we work it in; we have lived it ourselves!

Brian C. Lewis, CAE, CVA

Partner

Brian is a CAE & a Certified Volunteer Administrator with Raybourn Group International, where he serves as the Executive Director for a couple of small staff clients. He discovered his interest in Association Management about 20 years ago as a volunteer for several adult fraternal organizations. Brian has remained an active volunteer for over two decades, serving in several roles, including the Secretary, or more accurately, the volunteer Executive Director, for multiple organizations. He feels that his volunteer involvement is important professionally as a way to see things from the volunteer’s perspective and it provides opportunities to try out new things on a smaller scale.

Mark C. Lewis, MS, CAE, CVA

Partner

Mark has years of experience in non-profit management and has been involved with several different clients, giving him a unique perspective into the realm of membership. In addition to his professional role working with non-profits, he is very active within the Masonic fraternal community in Indiana, which gives him further insight to the challenges that face association members and volunteers. He has been recognized for both his work and volunteer efforts by being awarded the Rising STAR of the Year by the Indiana Society of Association Executives in 2013 and the equivalent of Chapter President of the Year in 2019 by the Grand Council of Cryptic Masons in Indiana.
